Biography
Dr. Gu Panpan is an accomplished researcher and drug development leader with a PhD in Biology and Medicine from Shanghai Fudan University. Her research focuses on biomolecular diagnostics, including RPA-CRISPR technologies for rapid detection of antimicrobial resistance genes, as well as cancer genomics with emphasis on TET2 mutations in breast cancer.
Currently serving as Associate Director of Program Management at Takeda Asia Development Center, Dr. Gu leads cross-functional teams in advancing immunology and inflammation pipelines. She previously held senior project management roles at GSK and Boehringer Ingelheim, specializing in oncology drug development from early strategy through regulatory approval. Her industry experience spans Pfizer, GSK, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Takeda, bridging translational research with clinical development to accelerate innovative therapies for unmet medical needs.
