Our aim is to create opportunities for researchers to share ideas across disciplines.

Biography

Wanderson Gabriel Gomes de Melo, MSc

Wanderson Gabriel Gomes de Melo, MSc, is a PhD student in Health Biotechnology at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), Brazil, and Co-Guest Editor of the Special Issue on Translational Bioengineering for Regenerative Applications in Biotechnology & Bioengineering. His research bridges computational and experimental approaches to tissue repair, regenerative biology, and biomaterial-guided cellular modulation. With expertise in RNA-seq integration, gene regulatory network modeling, and stem cell–microenvironment interactions, he advances innovative strategies for renal pathophysiology and tissue engineering. His work has been published in leading journals such as Canadian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology and ACS Omega. Recognized with awards including the Best Poster in Cardiovascular and Renal Pharmacology (2024) and participation in Kyushu University’s K2-SPRING program (2025), he continues to contribute to the global dialogue on regenerative bioengineering.
