Biography
Dr. Min-Ying Tsai is an academic affiliated with the Department of Special Education at National Pingtung University, Taiwan. Her research primarily focuses on the intersection of educational psychology and special education, with a particular emphasis on gifted students.
Dr. Tsai's scholarly contributions include studies on perfectionism, cognitive mindset, constructive thinking, and emotional intelligence among gifted students. Notably, her 2023 study, "Comparing Perfectionism, Cognitive Mindset, Constructive Thinking, and Emotional Intelligence in Gifted Students by Grade and Gender," published in Social Sciences, involved 908 primary school students and utilized statistical analyses to explore these psychological traits across different grades and genders.
In addition to her work on gifted education, Dr. Tsai has authored publications on educational technology. Her 2024 paper, "The Policy Development and Current Situation of Information Technology Education in Taiwan," published in IgMin Research, examines the evolution and current state of IT education policies in Taiwan.
