Biography
Dr. Zainab Rasheed is a distinguished educator, researcher, and entrepreneur based in the United Arab Emirates. With over two decades of experience, she has made significant contributions to the fields of educational technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and innovation.
Currently, Dr. Rasheed serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Al Madad Group and the CEO of Zennova Technologies, both located in Dubai. In these roles, she leads initiatives that integrate emerging technologies into educational systems, aiming to enhance learning experiences and outcomes. Her leadership is particularly evident in the development of AI-powered augmented reality (AR) solutions, such as SmartGaze, which facilitate real-time multilingual communication .
Dr. Rasheed's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Education from the University of Liverpool, where she specialized in higher education. She also holds a Master of Science in Database Systems and Technology and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computing Science from the University of Greenwich. Her scholarly work encompasses areas like AI, AR, blockchain, and data science, with numerous publications in international journals .
Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Dr. Rasheed is actively involved in various educational and technological communities. She is the UAE Country Representative at MENASA-NASPA and serves as the Director of Business Development for the Middle East at the Standard Review Board UK. Her expertise and innovative approach continue to inspire advancements in the intersection of technology and education.

The research embarks on an odyssey through a holistic examination of HEIs’ responses to global fo...rces, aiming to decipher the transformative journey and its implications for societal transformation. Globalization, a multifaceted phenomenon, has revolutionized higher education, driving a shift from traditional to diversified pedagogical models. However, this transformative journey presents a myriad of challenges and opportunities for HEIs. The study underscores the pivotal role of internationalization and cultural inclusivity in reshaping the educational landscape. Challenges faced by HEIs in adapting to globalized learning environments, reluctance to embrace cultural diversity, and limitations in fostering cross-cultural competencies among students emerge as focal points. This research contributes a novel perspective by delineating the barriers hindering the internationalization of educational settings, offering insights into strategies for fostering inclusive learning environments. Emphasizing the significance of embracing cultural diversity, the study recommends recalibrating institutional policies and practices. These findings resonate beyond academic discourse, influencing practical implications for real-world educational settings.
