I am full professor of Computer Architecture at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). I attained my BS degree in 1986, and my PhD in 1990 at the same university. Throughout my career I have supervised researches and published extensively in the areas of computer-based applications, parallel processing and computer architecture. In particular, more than 60 papers were published in international journals, and more than 90 contributions in conferences and workshops were presented. I have conducted eight international and national projects, participated as researcher in other 22 and been the advisor of seven PhD thesis.
